I came across this today, its SWIG support for XBMC.

SWIG allows the developers of XBMC to expose their API in a manner that allows addon developers to use (almost) any programming language they want.  This is awesome for me, as I am not a huge fan of python.  But I love ruby.

I have several ideas for some addons for XBMC. One of them is my tv scripts project which is written in ruby.  It is a set of scripts that help me manage and organize my TV library.

I would also like to work on some twitter and facebook libraries.

Anyways, back to your regular scheduled broadcast!
